I guess you probably have a lot of snapshots?
You could try updating to 6.7.1 and if you still have problems do an OS Re-install.

Surprisingly I managed to boot into volume read-only mode.
I'm running the version 6.6.1 of the firmware.

Yes, I have a lot of snapshots (one hourly over 3 years...), I reduced it to weekly snapshots.
I have installed the 6.7.1 and I have done an OS Re-install.
