0x8007003b transfering large files

0x8007003b unexpected network error when transfering large files.

can send/recieve small files

can recieve large files

cannot send large files

Network setup is a bridged wireless connection. Router A (WRT3200acm) is connected to modem and RN314 via cable, Router B (WRT1900acs) is connected to pc via cable. They are wirelessly bridged togather, in this configuration I am unable to transfer large files to RN314. If i disable the wireless bridge, and enable the nic card I can transfer files fine.

I have tried the AVG on/off, firewall on/off, and file search on/off.

Any input would be appreciated.

I think it's pretty clear that this is a network issue (the bridged connection has to be dropping), since moving to wired ethernet resolves it.

So there's nothing you can do in the NAS to fix it  Options include

    • fixing the bridged uplink somehow (move the extender closer to the router, try a different extender, switch to 2.4 ghz, ...).
    • switching to a different technology (for instance powerline or a mesh router.  Or run ethernet and use router B as an AP).
    • moving the NAS to router B.  Then there will still be issues when accessing large files from router A, but not when you are accessing the NAS from router B.

I don't believe its dropping really, as stated I can move files from RN314 to PC just not the other way around. Also the NIC card I am referring to is wireless.

      Wireless adapter can send/recieve

      Wireless bridge can only recieve

Then please clarify the network path that works (what PC NIC you are using, what router it is connecting to, etc), and also the network path that fails.

For instance something like PC (ethernet) -> Router B  (wireless) -> Router A (ethernet) -> RN314 fails.

It HAS to be the network connection path, since changing to a different path resolves the problem.
