2V0427EW005ED - issues...
I think I've selected the correct model...
anyway;
I registered this when I bought it, and alas I don't know what email address I registered it under 8 years later... I made a new account and attempted to register it, and was told it was already registered. (That was yesterday).
Today, I login to my new account and it's suddenly there. I thought brilliant! However, the readynas is still asking me to register it on the portal and I don't have access to any of the addons etc, so it's barebones and I can't do what I used to do on it, before I factory reset it and started it again last week.
I click the register link in the portal, and it gives me:
Oops! We couldn’t find the page you're looking for.
Ideas on actually having the old girl back to 100% registered, functioning and working as it did before I factory reset it? Can't access apps, can't login via command line like I'm used to..

I have the addons working now.
I installed another browser - firefox. I was using chrome. Chrome worked for me in the past.
Unsure why this made a difference, but it did.
All fixed, still scratching my head.

I'm confused on what you are seeing.
There is no need to register the NV+ (or the NV+ v2). All features of those NAS should be available to you w/o registration. There is (if I remember correctly) a registration step when you set up the NAS after a factory default. But you can just skip past that step.
When you say "portal", do you mean frontview (the NAS admin web interface)?
Yeah, the local lan webpage part of it.
No addons are avaliable, so I've missed something obviously?
