3Tb HD install
ReadyNAS NV+ 2
Performed a few searches but couldn't find the answer to this easy question.
I have a brand new 3Tb HD that is listed on the HCL. Do I need to format / partition the drive before installing or can I just Plug and Play?
Thanks in advance. :D

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredPlease confirm you have the v2 (charcoal chassis) not the v1 (silver chassis): http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
The v2 supports 3TB disks whereas the v1 does not.
If you have the v2 simply add the disk while the NAS is running. The NAS should format it and add it to the array.
