It must be pretty obvious by now that the 4.1.7 bugs, and this one in particular, are not being looked at with any degree of seriousness.
A bit of a shame that NV/NV+ support should end on a whimper, as presumably the longevity of this product is one reason why it's no longer being actively supported.
