Has anyone found a solution? I"m seeing this exact same problem with my ReadyNAS Ultra Plus. I'm running Radiator v4.2.24 and Mountain Lion. I can connect to the NAS just file using Finder and "Connect To Server" and Time Machine seems to be configured properly...but when it tries to create the first backup, I get the error "The backup disk is not available". Its pretty frustrating since it seems that my computer can connect and authenticate to the NAS just fine.
