ReadyNAS Remote for Mountain Lion now available
When you download the ML client from https://remote.readynas.com/download.html, please right click on the installer and click open. You will be able to use this to bypass the Gatekeeper check for now.

- JordanLeeAspirantHey guys, anyone else having the problem where after I add my User in the Add-Ons section in Dashboard, I can't connect to my NAS on the Mac itself? I see 6 options on my top taskbar when I click the remote icon.
Properties -> (Grey'd out)
Shares > Does nothing
Manage -> Does nothing
ReadyDrop -> Does nothing
Log Out -> Works
Exit Works
There is no "Connect to ReadyNas option.
Cheers - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhat version of RAIDiator? ReadyNAS Remote is no longer an add-on and is a built-in feature in 5.3.6.
- JordanLeeAspirantOhh, It was on 5.3.5 but I JUST updated to 5.3.6 after I saw that ReadyDROP was built in. I'll report my findings in a second.
- Danne1AspirantI have the same problem..

I'm trying to connect to a ReadyNas Duo (RAIDiator 4.1.9) - JordanLeeAspirantJust realized, the picture NETGEAR uses for the tutorial is totally wrong. Maybe it's different for ML users but if you right click the bottom tray icon theres a connect to NAS option there. Took me a while to figure out as I was pulling my hair out. The remote system is also very finnicky, I had to set up an alternate USER ID because it said my password was wrong a billion times even though I reset it countless times.
- mrichmonAspirantWith a fresh install of ReadyNAS Remote v1.0.60 on Mountain Lion 10.7.1 the ReadyNAS client is unable to login to my ReadyDrop account. I created my ReadyDrop account by going directly to readydrop.netgear.com and creating an account via the web interface.

Note that recording a username and password in cleartext in the system logs is a very Bad Idea. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredTo use ReadyDROP you need a Duo/NV+ v2. You need Remote activated with access given to your Remote/ReadyDROP account and ReadyDROP enabled on the Duo/NV+ v2.
- CrontonsAspirantSo I have a ReadyNAS Duo v2 with Raidiator 5.3.6 installed. I installed ReadyNAS remote 1.0.60 on a Mac with Mountain Lion and it logs in fine. If I dare reboot my Mac, it is no longer able to log in. If I re-install ReadyNAS remote it logs in fine. reboot, fails again. I really don't want to have to re-install ReadyNAS remote every single time I reboot. Any suggestions?

Has anyone run into this? Am I seriously the only one? Any help would really be appreciated! - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHave you tried trashing the Remote Application (move it from Applications folder into the Trash) then re-installing it to see if this fixes the issue?
