Hi YorkBoy,
This process would take less than 5mins including reboot. What kind of update are planning to go through?
Kind regards,

Sorry but my comment is made as a result o f severve frustration and annoyance.
I have updated to 6.4.0 and now my 102 unit fails to run any backups as a result of well documented USB problems.
There are various beta fixes which might work, but having had simllar problems a year a ago when a beat fix caused me even worse problems than the 'normal' update I refuse to try it.
My question is really 'Just how long does it take Netgear to issue a relaible update for 6.4.0 given that it's c;ear;y been a problem since day 1'.

The beta has reached the RC stage which means that we are getting closer to a production release.
Like all firmware updates do, this release is undergoing QA testing and we will release it when it is ready. As things can take longer than expected it is difficult to come up with a specific ETA and we wouldn't want to provide one only for in some cases it not to be met. We'd rather take longer than we have planned than rush a release out.
