access readynas via webdav not working
Hi there
I created a share on my ReadyNas Ultra 4 (Firmware 4.2.26) having https access enabled for this share.
However when I try to connect to this share from internal and external (lan and wan) via https I receive an error message (I tried from mac and windows).
Connect from MAC: https://ip_address/share_name
Connect from Windows: Either via map network drive or net use X: "https://ip_address/share_name" /user:xyz password:xyz
User xyz has full access on this share.
Mac error:
There was a problem connecting to the server. Check the server name or IP address and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.
Windows error:
System error 67 has occurred.
The network name cannot be found.
Port forwarding of port 443 is active for WAN access.
I hope someone can help me out here. I checked already several forums and couldn't find any hint which would resolve my problem.
screenshots can be found here:

THANKS already in advance!

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserPersonally I use ftps for internet file access.
The usual syntax for net use doesn't have the password:, just the password itself on the command line with no options.michaelsteib wrote: net use X: "https://ip_address/share_name" /user:xyz password:xyz
As you probably know, the IP address in your screenshot would only work on the local LAN.
I suggest removing the hosts configuration setting temporarily, and see if that helps. Perhaps also try http, not https - in order to rule out any certificate issues.
There are some third-party webdav clients for mac and windows, that have free trials. They might also be worth trying.
