If the LAN ports are in fact broken, you will either need to
- Get a replacement OS-6 ReadyNAS and migrate the disks or
- Connect the disk(s) to a PC and mount them with suitable tools
On the second option - there is a beta version of btrfs and mdadm for windows that could be used. Of course the linux btrfs and mdadm could be used as well. If the volume is damaged, you could use ReclaiMe raid recovery software.
If you are the original purchaser, you should check your warranty status (5 years for the original purchaser).

Did you try RAIDar with the disks removed from the NAS? If the LAN ports are working it normally will show up with a "no disks" status. That would rule out any issues with the disks (which sometimes can prevent the NAS from booting).
Also check the LAN led status on the NAS and your router/switch.

That cannot be done. The factory default (reset) formats the disks and installs linux and application software on them. It does nothing when disks are not installed.
A USB recovery can be done with the disks removed - though I don't think it is likely to accomplish anything if RAIDar can't find the NAS with the disks removed.
And maybe it goes without saying, but try both ports on the NAS, another cable, and another port on the router/switch. If you have a switch in the mix, perhaps also try connecting directly to the router.
Thanks for the reply, I have tested it with known good network connections but to be safe have used a few different ones but still no luck
Are you also observing any issues turning the unit on and off? I ask because the NIC components and power-on circuit use the same power source, which remains on, even when the rest of the unit is off. But the fact that those components remain on can also be an issue if the unit was ever left where it was plugged in and the temperature got very high. I don't think Netgear (or PC manufacturers, many of which do the same thing) warn you about that. Many users assume it will be OK if it's "off".
A nearby lightning strike can also be a cause for failure of NIC components, especially if the incoming network connection and power have different ground points. I have two DuoV2 units with lightning damage (I bought them that way for parts), though not total loss of Ethernet. Neither will negotiate a proper connection on a "green" switch or over a long cable, but you can see LED activity as they try.
If you see absolutely no activity on the LAN LEDs, then the problem is not in the flash memory, it's the NIC or power distribution and is non-repairable. The process is here: How-do-I-use-the-USB-Recovery-Tool-on-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6-storage-system if you still want to try it.
