Adaptive Load Balancing

I have the 2 NIC cards in my switch and when I went to create a new bond and use  Adaptive Load Balancing I lost all access to it.  I had to turn it off, unplug the ethernet cables and various other things until it finally came back but it doesn't appear to be bonded.

Is there something speical I need to do?  I thought a special switch was not needed for this type of bonding?

I thought I could do this during business hrs, if it dropped for a minute I could deal with that but this took 30 minutes before I could get it back online

It isn't, but I've seen some other cases where it misbehaves.  Full loss of network is worse than the other cases I heard of.

Perhaps try TLB and see if it works out better.

Yes, but Round Robin requires switch support (setting up a static LAG on the switch).
