Hi Marc,
I don't see an Expand button on the volume screen (see attached screenshot). When I added the third disk I got the following message:
"Disk: Disk Model:ST4000VN008 Serial:ZGY6MAM2 was added to Channel 3 of the head unit.". I've had no error messages...
I have only inserted the disk once so far...

What happens if you select the disk on the volume tab, and the click on format in the right pane?
If the disk is formatted outside the NAS, it won't be automatically added to the array.

Hi Stephen,
It was a brand new disk and I've tried formatting it using the Format option. This seemed to have no effect. The attached screenshot shows the current status of the disk as obtained by hovering over the disk...

Was there any indication in the UI that formatting was actually done?
Try rebooting the NAS, and see if that triggers the expansion.

I got the following success message from the logs:
"Volume: Disk format completed on channel 3."
I've rebooted once following the format but I'll try again...
