After Ready NAS OS 6.4.2 update backup destination type no longer exists

I was consistently getting backups to external USB drive. May 6 performed the 6.4.2 update. Have discovered no longer getting backups of NAS to USB. Backup fails due to destination type "no longer exists". I was previously known as USB_HDD_001 but now recognized as USB_HDD_002. Admittedly I did not remove the USB drive before the update, but I never have during previous updates which have gone well. I was not able to get originally scheduled backup to re-attain the 001 drive. My only solution was to create a new backup to the recognized drive of USB_HDD_002. Will see if it works.

 

If I have done something in error, someone please let me know. I was planning on performing the update to 6.5.0 this week, but am now a bit gun-shy.

    6.5.0 has positive feedback about backup jobs. Just ensure that you will read the 6.5.0 Firmware release notes and some important reminders about ReadyCLOUD.

    6.5.0 has positive feedback about backup jobs. Just ensure that you will read the 6.5.0 Firmware release notes and some important reminders about ReadyCLOUD.
