Yeah, especially if the only reason you need Flash is for the really silly animated fan picture that takes up way too much space and serves absolutely no useful purpose.
Thanks Sandshark for your opinion about Flash player, I totally agree with you.
But since my RND 2000 obviously don't present the very essential menu for admin of the unit without Flash, I am still locking for any better solution than to install Flash.
Do you or anyone else in the community have any answer to my problem (see also my initial post) I would be very helped.
I am still hoping for a solution.

The Duo v2 has been discontinued for some years now. The web admin interface for it won’t be redesigned.
OK mdgm , I can understand this , I do of course not demand a redesign. I am only looking for any type of workaround/replacement for the unsecure Flash-player.
I cannot be the only RND2000 user facing this problem. The NAS is otherwise working well .
