Backing up readynas to Time machine

After the disaster that I had wiping out everything on my nas, how can I back up the configuration to time machine. There are instructions to back up time machine on nas but not the reverse. I want to back up so nas so if I ever get the stuck "booting" again I can at least restore the configuration on time machine

  • Hi ericatk,

Time Machine is not needed. You can save the backup configuration of your ReadyNAS on your computer as a zip file. You can use this file to restore your ReadyNAS configuration, after a factory reset.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Kind regards,
