Backing up Time Machine to ReadyNas202 - Error
Sorry folks if this post has come up a few times...I"ve tried to post this question, and I don't see it showing up on the board...so not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or against rules. Anyway, here goes...
When I try to connect my Time Machine to my ReadyNas 202, I get this error:
"TIme Machine can't connect to the backup disk. The operation couldn't be completed (OSStatus error -1073741275.)"
Any idea what I should do?
[Screen shot attached]
Thx!
I am not particularly well versed in Time Machine but from what I can find online, it seems the error is with regards to permissions. Here are some links that might help you.

And here in this reddit post where they discuss the 1073741275 error (a bit more than half way down the thread).

Hopefully you can fine some answers.

It was the spam filter acting up. I released your post from quarantine.
Hopefully someone here will be able to help with your issue.

My post won't go through. I wonder if it has to do with embedded links. I will send a PM instead.
Error -1073741275 seems to be permission related.

My post keep failing to go through. I have sent a PM instead.
Error seems to be permission related.
- EquitasAspirantMany thanks! I will try these!

Many thanks.
The problem seems to have been, that the UserName and Password were not the same in the NAS under BACKUP > TIMEMACHINE and the login in connection at Apple's Timemachine itself (when connecting to the NAS).
This has solved THAT problem.
Many thanks to all.
I'll have to post about another problem...regarding the amount of space available....maybe a partition issue.

Likely just the automatic spam filter. If it happens again, you can send me a private message and I'll release it for you.
I'm not a Mac user, so I can't help with your main issue. But if you haven't reviewed the kb article, here's a link: https://kb.netgear.com/29731/How-do-I-back-up-data-from-Mac-OS-X-to-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6-system-using-Private-Time-Machine
