Backing up whole ReadyNAS 516
Is there a way to completly backup the WHOLE NAS. Just in case, so that all the programs I had to install Manually and setup and myself, I could completly restore back to the NAS once again? Using RSync. I now have another NAS to use RSYNC with to backup to make backing up 13TB+ of data easier. If I can to reinstall 3 programs once again manually to get them working like they're suppose to, that's a ton of my time.

Hello JBDragon1,
Readynas still does not have a feature or function to completely backup the whole NAS. I am not sure but I believe the feature request been raised before or not but you could raised the concern to the readynas Idea Exchange board if the feature manage to gather a lot of kudos Netgear may consider adding the feature in the future release of the hardware or firmware.

So I'm trying to back up differnt directory's of my ReadyNAS to the QNAP using rsync. So I have 11 different backup jobs, one for each folder I want to backup to the QNAP. 8 of the 11 completly backed up just fine. 3 of them keep failing. I thought, maybe it's some type of permission thing, but I've trying going into the Shares Menu, to my Media Folder settings where these 11 directory's are located and into File access and as far as I can tell it's all Read/Write for everything. I've tried Resetting Permitions. I'm having no luck. Here's a short Sample.
Backup Job Name: Movies
Backup Job Type: Incremental
Protocol: rsync
Backup Source: [Media]/Movies
Backup Destination: [remote:rsync]/10.0.0.110::NASBackup
Backup Start Time: Thu Oct 12 2017 0:05:26

It looks to me that the problem is on the reception side, not the ReadyNAS. The Operation Not Supported error is usually the inability to set the proper attibutes on the target system. Does the user you are using for rsync have the proper rights on the target system?
