Backup to Google Drive

Synology and QNAP added support for Google Drive in March and OneDrive is about to be released.
And this is official support, no 3de party plugin.
So why can not Netgear develop something useful inhouse instead of providing press releases like: "NETGEAR REVOLUTIONIZES CONNECTED STORAGE AND DATA PROTECTION WITH NEW READYNAS PRODUCTS" without contents.
I will most likely replace my Ultra 4 with a Synology DS414
