Backup to ReadyNAS from FTP issue

Hello realtek1,

 

For the meantime, can you please try setting up FTP backup job for local share of the NAS as source and another share as destination?

    Hi,

     

    Yes I did try this before and just tried it again and it does seem to work fine when using the ReadyNAS as an FTP server and then backing up into another folder.

     

    I'm really not sure what could be causing this issue.

     

    To rule out a timeout issue I decreased my router bandwidth to a rediculasly slow amount so it took a very long time but it carried on going until it hit 1GB for an hour or so.

      Is there anyway I can troubleshoot this issue further? Any logs I can view apart from the ones through the GUI?

        Hello realtek1,

         

        Is the FTP server connected to the same network where the NAS is? 

         

        What's the model number of the NAS and its FW version?
