BackupExec 2010 R3 Not Seeing Readynas 2100

So all of the Netgear documentation is incorrect. If you want to backup a Netgear ReadyNas 1500 or 2100 to tape, which I have tested with Backup Exec 2010 R3 you need to do the following.
1. Purchase and install the Symantec RALUS agent for your media server.
2. Download the latest remote agent from readynas.com/forum, select readynas for business then Symantec Backup Exec.
3. Install the agent on the NAS appliance and once installed enter the IP ADDRESS of your BackupExec media server.
4. Once the agent is installed go to BackupExec and either create a new job or edit an existing selection list. Right Click on USER DEFINED SELECTIONS
5. Select Manage User Defined Selections
6. Enter the IP address of the NAS and hit add then close
7 Select the IP address for the new selection, and enter the necessary credentials for accessing the NAS.
Once that is done you will then have access to the NAS file system and then can select the folders you wish to backup.
