Backups gone?
I had Time Machine working fine with my ReadyNAS Ultra -- but then the sparsebundle filled up (2048) and I started getting a error...so I added disk space and increased the size of the sparse bundle (4096). In the mean time, I forgot the ReadyNAS TM user account login password, and reset it.
Now, when I go into time machine to restore, I can see all the old backup dates, but I cannot click on them. It's as if the data have disappeared.
Did I nuke my sparsebundle ? I am feeling pretty silly right now....
Help appreciated.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDid you increase the TM quota in Frontview?
- masonworldApprenticeI did -- from 2048 to 4096. TM prefs says 2.2TB of 4.4TB remaining -- which is what I would expect. But I cannot navigate to the old dates in the time macine finder...
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat is odd.
What version of RAIDiator?
Also what version of Mac OS X?
Now it's possible as the quota was maxed out the ownership of part of the sparsebundle could've got messed up. If this is the case correcting the ownership of the sparsebundle should hopefully fix it. Contact tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support), editing the thread (i.e. subject of first post in the thread) to include your case number and see what they suggest.
If you like run my x86 TimeMachineLog add-on (http://readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=42033&p=239030&hilit=TimeMachineLog#p239030) and PM (Private Message) me the output. This should tell me if my suspicions are correct. The add-on creates a file with the output in the "C" share (accessible if you login via CIFS as "admin") and makes no other changes to the NAS. - masonworldApprenticeThanks....
Before I saw the light and got Macs, I was a Windows guy. Windows guys reboot things (daily). When I rebooted the mac and the ReadyNAS, the backup data returned.
All is normal now, except "Connecting to backup volume" takes 2-3 minutes. - masonworldApprenticeAnd sometimes that times out and I get

It's still possible some of the permissions are not set right.
