Can users change their own passwords for ReadyNas local accounts?
Since the ReadyNAS can't do LDAP integration/authentication, I'm forced to use local accounts. But there doesn't appear to be any mechanism to allow the users to change their own passwords. Is there any way to do this? Or must the administrator be setting the password and having it be static?
Actually users can change their own passwords. See How do I change the password of my ReadyNAS user account on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system?

Hello khurni,
Unfortunately only admin can do this and that is only through the admin page of the ReadyNAS.
Perhaps posting this at Idea Exchange board will help. Adding kudos to the ideas will help as development team will be reviewing the post that has the most kudos for considering it to add to the product's future functionality.
