Cancelling balance

I have a blance running which has only reached 10% after 24 hours so I wish to cancel it. Can SSH into it but when I try to run the command I get the message "not a btrfs filesystem"

I believe that simply rebooting the NAS will stop the balance, so try that next.

Please post the specific command you are using.

Also, you need to log in as root, not as admin.

Am logged in as root and using btrfs balance status /data

I have read some posts that seem to suggest that the NAS will reboot and start doing the balancing again. Is that not the case?

Have rebooted and balancing job is continuing. 10%

And it reports that /data is not btrfs?

ls /data shows you the share folders correct?

    Is your volume called data? Or is it called something else?
