Cannot access admin page...ReadyNAS "Admin Page" is offline
Hello, I need some help. I cannot access the admin page -> Netgear ReadyNAS 314 (RNC31400) running FW 6.10.2. Every time I try to access the administration page I get prompted for the user ID and p...

Yes, login in as admin. I did try to use RAIDar but without any luck. I considered an OS reinstall from the boot menu but I wanted to leave that option last until I tried everything else.
Yesterday I got distracted with other projects and I left the browser window open where the system displayed "ReadyNAS Admin Page is offline" along with some suggestions. I left the browser window open for about 7 hours. When I came back to it I reloaded the screen and it prompted me to login back again. I figure I would try again before turning off the computer. This time it took the credentials and successfully logged me in. Now it works normally again. I don't know what the problem is/was since I had tried to clear the browser cache (all browsers) many times, I rebooted the ReadyNAS several times too. The only thing I can think of is that maybe it was a routing issue since the ReadyNAS is connected directly to my router and I was connecting to it from a wireless access point. The ReadyNAS has a static IP address but perhaps the wireless access point had a glitch.
So far I have been able to log back into the ReadyNAS several times so it seems all is working again.
Thanks for the suggestions.

It sounds like something on your network is repeatedly attempting to log in with a cached wrong password, locking you out. It could be the same computer you are using. Are you using some kind of password management software that works across the multiple browsers?

No password management software. I was trying to login typing the admin account and correct password each time. I used Chrome, Firefox, Edge and IE. I tried one browser at the time and cleared the cache every time after waiting a reasonable amount of time to account for timeouts after each attempt.
It works now. Please see my reply to the previous suggestion.
Thanks,
Jose
