ReadyNAS "Admin Page" is offline

HI All,

I have recently purchased ReadyNas 214 after i upgaraded the firmware to 6.6.1 i am unable to get the admin page.

Both the network interface our configured with the same IP.

Now we have changed the network from /16 to /24 and we are unable to open the admin page.

When i connect directly the NAS device to my machoine i can access the Floders from it and also i get the username and password prompt when i open the URL in browser and after that i get the error that the page can not b displayed.

I used Netgear RAIDar it show me all the details but not abe to open the admin page.

Requst you to please assist me in this.

Can you access the NAS if you disconnect one of the ethernet cables?

  • Did you really configured both network cards? With same settings?

    Normally switches don't accept that.

Because with no load balancing / teaming feature no client would know on which interface it should connect.

Load Balancing / teaming and so on doesn't work only if you configure all interface the same way.

It must be configured the "correct" way switch and device are able to communicate against each other.

That would explain why it works, when you connect it directly to your machine (only one link connected).

  • Hi Team,

Please let me know if anyone body has solution for this.

I am awaiting for the solution.

Were you able to download the logs with RAIDar?

If not, does the NAS respond to ping?

Boot to volume read-only mode (a boot menu option) and then go to https://ip.address.of.nas/fwbroker and update to 6.7.0. If you still have the problem try an OS Re-install. It should then disable quotas at the volume level.

This change'll stick till you change share settings.

You have a huge amount of metadata on your volume.
