Cannot access boot menu on ReadyNAS Ultra 6
I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 6 running 4.2.25 with all 6 disks loaded and I cannot get into the boot menu. I followed the instructions here http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20898#ultra_6_ultr...

OK, I've done the USB boot process described in that article. I waited about 4 minutes or so and the NAS didn't shut down, so I just turned it off. After taking the USB drive out and bootin normally, nothing seems to have changed. I still can't get into the boot menu holding down the reset pinhole button in the back while powering it on. Wasn't this supposed to re-write the internal flash? Then again, if I can't get to the Boot Menu, I can't do the OS-reinstall. Perhaps the USB drive wasn't made bootable? I've read about that problem with using the usbrecovery.exe utility. Is there any other way to get this OS-reloaded? It's seriously confused.
At this point, support is telling me it's out of warranty (by 3 months!) and I have to purchase a new unit. There must be a solution to this, I just don't know what else I can try. Any ideas?
Thanks!
