Just as a quick update, it turns out it was actually drive 1 that had failed.
Thankfully, it is still under warranty.
However, i needed to run Seagate to establish the error code, but i cant as i am using a Macbook.
I purchased a caddy to put the dead drive in but every time i plug it in it says it cant initialize it.
I am guessing the reason for that is the drive is well and truly fried?
