Cannot copy files to NV+ and Apple Probs

.AppleDB and .ds_store are normal mac files. I think ds_store is used to remember the icon placement and other appearance tweaks and I think the AppleDB is related in some way to the AFP protocol (not sure)
I don't know for the others.
Thumbs.db is, I believe, a windows file.
Not sure why they appear only now though. Most hidden files can be deleted safely on network volumes, though I can't be totally sure as I don't know all of them. So you might as well move them and test, just to be able to move them back into place if needed.
As for the error, you should check the rights on the NAS. I would have suggested to check the network too, but since you can read from the NAS...
