Cannot log on to ReadyNas NV+ after upgrade to new computer

1. I use Chrome for my browser and Chrome replies with "This webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" Chrome details show: Google Chrome could not load the webpage because 192.168.1.66 took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.
2. I did get a reply when I pinged the IP address of the NAS. Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss)
3. I will find out what SMB is and try it.
4. I haven't tried another computer. I've got an old lap top in storage and will get it out to try.
