Cannot Move/Copy folders

OK. The reason I know I have the latest firmware is that I just spent 6 weeks on email with support when trying to get Time Machine to connect to the server again.
I can get the files on the NAS, they are just in main directory. I will make a new folder and keep them there for a while, and fix it later. Not really interested in undoing the last 6 weeks of emails about getting Time Machine reconnected. That ended up requiring a hard drive reset. This all makes me appreciate the Mac more.
