Cannot Move/Copy folders

I am having similar permissions problems since an auto upgrade to 4.1.9 occurred recently. I upgraded to 4.1.10 which did not fix it and then I downgraded to 4.1.8 and still permissions are messed up. I've even gone in and reset permissions on each Mac and reset ownership on the folder level in the Advanced tab for each of my Shares which fixes files that are currently on the Share but not new files added or saved to the Share. New files and folders either have "Read only" or "custom access" which means I can't even see what the permissions are. What a mess, my team and I can't work using the nas because we can't share anything. What the heck happened and what the heck do I do to fix it?
