Cannot reach the ready NAS server but ping works

Hi StephenB,
Firmware I do not know - because the NAS is down.
Now, I cannot reach the NAS via ping any more.
The exact name of the NAS is RN 10400.
How I could see it:
"...
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (2278 bytes received so far) [sender]
..."
And on the web interface did not say anything.
I am going to switch it off now.

Which services are you running?
How many disks and what brand and model do you have installed?You may wish to try ReadyNASOS 6.4.2 (RC1). There are some fixes in that which may be relevant.

- SMB, AFP, NFS, iTunes, ReadyDLNA, Rsync (just now switched on), UPnP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, Virus protection
Disk:
- 4
- TOSHIBA
The system is now up and running fine.

There is a known performance issue with the anti-virus service and there is a RAID-5 issue that has been fixed in ReadyNASOS 6.4.2 (RC1)
You may wish to disable the anti-virus service for now and update to 6.4.2-RC1.
