- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWhat firmware are you running? Were the new drives added into empty slots, or did you replace existing drives? Can you give us more details on what you did (hot-insert, power-off insert, etc)?
- robinpaulAspirantFirmware: 5.3.11
I added the HDDs in the empty slots. Hot-inserted.
Now I am getting errors in logs saying: Volume scan failed to run properly - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWere the disks used? Did you format them before putting them into the NAS?
What status does RAIDar give you? - robinpaulAspirantDisks were brand new.
RAIDar looks ok, gives me the Setup\Dashboard page
But when i click on Volumes, its empty. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserDo you have a backup?
- Mjorgy68AspirantHaving same issue on a NV+ V2. Hard drive3 was failing, replaced VIA Cold swap, when booted, file scan had failed, yet all 4 disks are visible, just can not see the volume.
