Can't access (Do not have permission) yet it was working prior
My RN10400 was working and I could get access to all my files via Windows explorer. I just installed another NAS on my network (computer and NAS all go into a switch). But now I can't get access...

You must have a space after the t: and you must not have a space after /user:
Use "data" instead of FOLDER (unless you named your volume something different - the default is "data").
Of course use the real adminpassword, not the placeholder.

Sweet. That worked. What was the issue? How do I prevent that from happening again?

It suggests that the problem is with the credentials windows is using. One next step is to try the two commands again, using the nas name (OLDNAS) instead of its IP address (to confirm that both options work).
Then open the windows credential manager (enter "credential manager" in the windows search bar), and delete any credentials you see there for the old NAS. Then create new ones. You can use the admin credentials you just used with the mapped drive letter, or you can use a different user account that you have on the NAS.
Windows treats the ip address and the name as two different machines - so you probably want to create credentials for both.

I don't see any setting for the old nas in credential manager.
NET USE works only when I use the NAS name and not IP address. As well, it only seems to work when I use admin. When I use an account on the NAS that matches my login to the computer it seems to do that duplicate login issue and error out.
thanxs for the info. It's a learning expereince and at least I can get the NAS working on my mutliple computers now.

Then windows will use the username/password that you used to log into windows. If the NAS rejects that, you will be denied access, even if guest access is enabled for the share

You do need the net use * /delete in between tests - Windows won't let you use two logins for the same machine at the same time. You can access "data" only as admin, you should be able to access shares with other accounts net use t: \\OLDNAS\sharename /user:username userpassword
It should work equally well with the IP address as it does with the NAS Name. If it only works with one, usually it's the NAS name that fails. So it's odd that the IP address method fails.
It isn't surprising that the computer login fails - that is consistent with having no access with no stored credentials. But it is odd why that has suddenly begun to fail. Are you using that login as a NAS user account also (either ReadyCloud or a local user)? Does the PC password match the NAS password?
