Can't access ReadyNAS Pro 6
Hello friends, As the title says, I have an old RNDP6000 and I can't access it. It had been turned off for a long time. I'm using Windows 11 Pro. Its readout shows it is on and displays it...
In Firefox I can reach the CP and it says No shares currently accessible, same with Brave Browser.
You need to browse to https://nas-ip-admin/admin
The /admin matters, and I think you are leaving it out.
Just in case this info is useful:
If I try to reach it through the network, Windows 11 Pro says:
Windows cannot access \\(name)
Error code: 0x80004005
Unspecified error
To get SMB access, you first have to go into "turn windows features on or off", and then then enable SMB 1.0/CIFS Client. By default that is disabled.
