Can't access web GUI setup

Just received word back from Netgear, and their L3 tech sees I'm running OS6 on my Pro2, so any further help in unlikely.
I do have SSH access, what can I do?
Is there a way to reload the OS via USB? I'm not sure the reload is taking via the reset / boot menu using the front panel. Shouldn't all the passwords reset with an OS install? Or is the OS install different on a Pro2 running OS6 rather than v4.2.25 firmware?
