Can't all be bad .img files
ReadyNAS OS 6 Software Version 6.7.4
Every single version I download and then try mounting the .img file in Win7 ir Win10 gives me a "The disc image file is corrupted" error.
They can't all be bad so I'm missing sometihing basic.
They all unzip fine, just can't mount htem.

Windows thinks files with the .img extension are iso images (or something similar). Our firmware images are not iso images.
When you upload the image the NAS will read the header of the file and verify the integrity of the firmware image before it does the update.Welcome to the community!
