Can't Disable "Active Snapshot" When Trying to Expand Volume on ReadyNas Ultra 2
I currently have two 2-TB drives installed in my ReadyNas Ultra 2 Plus. Volumes are set to RAID Level X-RAID2. I am almost out of space so I decided to upgrade using 2 6-TB Seagate Ironwolf driv...
Would this work barring the ssh route?
Since I haven't wiped the old 2TB drives, could I put them back in the ReadyNAS, perform a factory reset, and then put the 6TB drives back in or is that phantom snapshot locked onto the drive itself?
The snapshot is on the disks (and was propagated to the new drives). So that won't help.
One alternative is to back up the data, do a factory reset, rebuild the NAS, and restore the files. If you do go this route, you should consider converting the NAS to run OS-6 while you are at it.

I think this is the route I'll take. Does the Ultra 2 Plus do well with OS-6?
