I currently have two 2-TB drives installed in my ReadyNas Ultra 2 Plus. Volumes are set to RAID Level X-RAID2. I am almost out of space so I decided to upgrade using 2 6-TB Seagate Ironwolf driv...

The snapshot is on the disks (and was propagated to the new drives). So that won't help.
One alternative is to back up the data, do a factory reset, rebuild the NAS, and restore the files. If you do go this route, you should consider converting the NAS to run OS-6 while you are at it.

I think this is the route I'll take. Does the Ultra 2 Plus do well with OS-6?

Since RAIDiator 4.2.31 was doing everything I needed it to do, I elected to stay with that.
I took your advice and made a backup copy of all of my data and then performed a factory reset. It looks like the NAS is have no problems reading the 6 TB drives (although the synch is taking forever due to, presumably, the sized).
Will post final result shortly.
Thanks!
