Can't set up email alerts on Readynas 314
Hi I can't seem to set up email alerts on my ReadyNAS. I have tried my outlook.com and gmail account. Any suggestions. I am using firmware 6.7.5

First check that your NAS can reach the internet. In particular, if you've assigned a static address to the NAS, make sure you assigned at least one DNS server (very common to overlook that). 8.8.8.8 can be used (Google's public DNS service). While on thost pages, confirm that your subnet mask and gateway are set correctly.
I don't use Outlook.com as an ISP, but I do use gmail. There you need to make two changes in your google account security:
- turn off two step authentication ("signing into google" section)
- turn on allow less secure apps (bottom of the "sign in & security" page).
