cant sync ready nas with samsung tv
u was using plex on my samsung tv up until recently and now for some reason i cant use the plex app on my samsung i have plex pass is there any way to solve this problem also plex keeps asking for an update no idea how to get it

What version of the plex server are you running?
It is possible that you are being affected by this:
IMPORTANT: With the security changes in version 1.1.0, if your Plex Media Server is signed in to a plex.tv account, then all of the apps you use must also be signed-in. If you use older apps that cannot authenticate (e.g. LG's MediaLink or SmartShare apps), you can add the IP address of the device to the following advanced preference:
Settings > Server > Network > List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth.
(We strongly encourage apps to be signed in for improved security and enhanced functionality.)
Though the plex release notes don't mention it, if you are going to add your TV's IP address to the server configuration, then you should either reserve the TV's address in the router or make it static. Reserving in the router is best.
You can download plex server for ReadyNAS OS 6 systems from https://www.plex.tv/downloads/ Select "netgear" as the platform, it will give you a couple of options (x86, arm, RN2xx arm) after that.

You do need to backup your data first.
Then install the R4toR6 Prep add-on, then install the R4toR6 firmware image. The NAS will verify the image and prompt you to confirm you wish to reboot to install it. The NAS will automatically do a factory reset at the appropriate time avoiding the need for you to use the boot menu to do one manually.
Then you would restore your data from backup.
