What tools are you using to do the backup?  Windows Backup? ReadyCloud,  ReadyNAS backup job?

 

Also, can you access the NAS backup folder with Windows File Explorer?

i am using ReadyNas Backup to copy photos from the pc to archive on ReadyNas. I can see and access folders from my PC and can manually move files from The PC to storage.  The backup function doesn't work and nothing gets copied. I also tried it the other way, using the PC as a backup for the ReadyNas. Same result, nothing happens. 

 

Any thoughts?

    Can you post the backup job settings?  Perhaps a screen shot or two...

      I just went back to 6.5.1 and everything is working fine.  I believe there is a bug in 6.5.2.  I am going to keep with the older version and hope they fix what ever is wrong. Thanks for your thoughts

        If someone from Netgear (for instance mdgm-ntgr ) reaches out to you, perhaps give them the details.  That will likely get the problem fixed quicker.
