CIFS Default Access
Why is it that files saved from Windows 7 to CIFS shares on my ReadyNAS NV+ (RAIDiator 4.1.8 ) only have read access when the Default Access is set to Read/write in Frontview? This is causing problem...
Thanks for the reply. Have done all that you suggest but new files are still created without write access, except to the folder owner. Could this be a Security Mode issue? I am using Share security as this is my home network, would changing to User security be the solution?
