I know that it is possible to transfer the disks from one ReadyNAS OS 6 system to another but the RN104 is an ARM based unit.  Can anyone tell me which of the current Netgear models can I use as target chassis for my existing disks?

You can migrate the disks to any OS-6 model.  The NAS will reinstall the OS, but preserve the settings and data.

One caveat - many apps are OS-specific, and they aren't reinstalled.  So plex (and most other third-party apps) will need to be reinstalled after you migrate.
