You can't go far wrong with Samsung (Smart TV range). They seem to update their firmware regularly & since I've got mine (PS64D8000) I've had no issues with compatibility. So far it's played every file I've tried. An easy (cheap) way to view video from your ReadyNAS is their Smart TV enabled Blue Ray players. I've bought a couple of these for different rooms so that I can play my video/downloaded film & TV shows on a non network ready TV.
