Hi I have the panasonic GT30 - this connects to the Readynas duo without any problems. This handles avi, mpg, MKV! plus mp3's jpegs etc.
Works out the box with little or no effort.
One thing I did buy was a netgear 1 gig switch (£35) and I connect everything via that. I used to use the router my ISP provided but showing of the readynas was hit and miss.
Since buying the switch the readynas is available 100% of the time (both wired and wireless)
Any questions give me a shout - also stream to my samsung galaxy s2 via wireless from the readynas.
