Unlikely to be dhcp related. Does the readynas Ip address change? You could try to set a reserved address in your router/AP or use a fixed up address for the readynas.
Is the wdtv connected via wifi or ethernet?
Are you using the latest firmware and readydlna versions?
Are you only using one of the readynas ethernet ports to connect to your network?
What router are you using? There are some reports of people solving this problem by using a different router?
