I have somehow managed to get the WDTV to see the NAS directly by changing the windows share name from WORKGROUP to the name of my NAS?!! I was able to see the folders and use the Network Share Library mananger (on the WDTV) to add the relevent media files from the NAS, it's now apparently compiling a database of my files,let's see if it can acurratley report the contents of the media library and actually play files uninterupted !
