And I use MagicISO/MagicDisc (not free) to mount/convert image files for easy access, and to allow Handbrake/FF do it's thing. This has worked for years for me, so I've never really bothered to look for alternatives as they work, are free, and simple to use.
I also install the K-Lite Codec pack which seems to cover most bases. (Free)
Hi,
I had left the whole video conversion thing for a while now - never really seemed to fully get there.!!
However, I really do need to get it sorted now.
I converted some video using Handbrake. And as far as I can see, there are just two snags:
1) the video screen size is quite small and I cant seem to increase it.
2) the video playback looks like it needs de-interlacing, but I am not sure how.
I did also try the conversion using FormatFactory, and I get the same interlaced playback - but the quality seems worse on here.
I put my hands up, and I dont fully understand all the techno jargon.
I just want to convert the video to playback on DNLA devices, such as xbox, iPad, Samsung TV.
Any help (in laymans terms) would be great.
Cheers
Chris
