Convert to Dual-Redundancy?
Hi,
I am sorry if this has been answered before, and I guess I should know the answer, but I have looked around, and can't find it, so here goes;
In my Pro I have 6 1TB discs, in normal "Redundant" mode. They are by no means filled up, and I am thinking about converting to dual redundancy. Is it possible to change the current volume without factory reset and restore of data (I do have a solid backup, on external discs and on my Ultra 2)? And if so, what would be faster?

You'll need to backup all data, do a factory default (e.g. via System > Update > Factory default) in Frontview, discover NAS using RAIDar (http://www.readynas.com/downloads), after a few initial checks are done on boot the NAS will enter a 10 minute countdown, during this time click setup choose X-RAID2, tick the dual-redundancy option and confirm your choice. Restore data from backup. - That's what I was afraid of, but hey, at least I have great backup, and it should be relatively fast to restore from another ReadyNAS - thanks for confirming.
